Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 22, 2026 · Effective: April 22, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how DozyTech (“DozyTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit dozytech.io (the “Platform”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners. Cookies can be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (remain on your device for a set period or until deleted).

Similar technologies include:

  • Local storage / session storage: browser-based storage that works like cookies but stays on your device longer.
  • Pixel tags / web beacons: tiny transparent images embedded in pages or emails that signal when content is loaded.
  • Browser fingerprinting: collecting browser and device attributes to identify returning visitors.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

CategoryPurposeExamples
Strictly NecessaryEnable core Platform functions — authentication, session management, security.Supabase auth tokens, CSRF tokens
FunctionalRemember your preferences such as dark/light mode and language settings.Theme preference, locale
AnalyticsUnderstand how visitors interact with the Platform so we can improve it.Page views, session duration, feature usage
MarketingDeliver relevant promotions and measure campaign effectiveness (only where you have consented).Referral tracking, ad attribution

3. Specific Cookies We Set

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

  • sb-access-token / sb-refresh-token: Supabase authentication tokens used to keep you logged in. Session cookies (access token) and persistent cookies up to 7 days (refresh token).
  • __Host-next-auth.csrf-token: Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. Session cookie.
  • __Secure-next-auth.callback-url: Remembers where to redirect you after login. Session cookie.

3.2 Functional Cookies

  • theme: Stores your dark/light mode preference. Persistent, 1 year.
  • locale: Stores your language/region preference. Persistent, 1 year.

3.3 Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. Where analytics cookies are set, we do so only with your consent (except where aggregate/anonymized data is used that does not identify individuals).

3.4 Third-Party Cookies

  • Stripe: When you make a purchase, Stripe may set cookies necessary for fraud prevention and payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel: Our hosting provider may set cookies for routing and performance optimization. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

4. Your Choices

4.1 Browser Settings. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View and delete existing cookies.
  • Block all cookies or block cookies from specific sites.
  • Set preferences for certain types of cookies (e.g., block third-party cookies).

Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Platform from functioning correctly — you will not be able to stay logged in.

4.2 Opt-Out Links. For analytics and advertising cookies, you may opt out via the relevant provider's opt-out mechanisms.

4.3 Do Not Track. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Our Platform currently does not respond to Do Not Track signals, but we do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookie Duration

  • Session cookies: deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies: remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. Expiry periods range from 24 hours (e.g., short-lived auth helpers) to 1 year (preferences).

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects when it was most recently revised. For material changes we will provide notice as described in our Privacy Policy.
